Katherine Jenkins is a British classical-crossover singer from Neath, Wales. Starting her music career in 1998, she signed with Universal Classics and Jazz and was offered the most lucrative deal in the UK’s classical recording history.
Her debut album, ‘Premiere’, was released in 2004, and hit #31 in the UK Albums Chart and #1 in the UK Classical Album Chart. Her second album, ‘Second Nature’, was also released in 2004 and led to her becoming the first British classical crossover artist to have two number one albums in the same year. Her third album, ‘Living a Dream’, came out in 2005 and hit #4 in the UK Albums Chart. Her next three albums all reached the Top Ten, before she signed to Warner Bros and released ‘Believe’, in 2009, which continued her chart success. She released her latest ‘Celebration’, in April 2016.
