Paul Simon has etched his influence on popular music in a career that has spanned over 50 years. Paul Simon has been responsible for some of the most recognisable songs, such as his big solo hit You Can Call Me Al and a long list of classics he wrote while being part of the acoustic duo Simon & Garfunkel with Art Garfunkel. After parting with Art Garfunkel, Paul Simon embarked on a remarkable solo career. He notably released the hit single Don’t Call Me Al and played a sold-out Paul Simon concert at New York’s Central Park, which was documented in the 1991 live album and video, Paul Simon’s Concert In The Park.
